Emily Mendelson

Hi, I'm Emily, a PhD Candidate at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and co-managing editor for the Sex and Pyschology blog and podcast. Prior to my current program, I earned my BA in Business Analytics at Binghamton University and my MA in Communication at Baylor University.

My research is concerned with topics relevant to interpersonal communication, health, and mediated communication technologies. I am particularly interested in the myraid ways communication technolgies affect our intimate lives, especially as it relates to the exchange of sexual consent and how we make sense of the content we consume online.
